Whew! I am pooped from all of the blogging I’ve done today! The funny thing is, I think I posted 5 or 6 out of LOADS of sessions I still have to blog….and we still have NEW sessions that need to go up! So, I decided to take a break from the “walk down memory lane” and share with you guys one of my recent sessions. I’ll try to mix them up a little so you guys can see the old with the new anyway
This family is SO NEAR and dear to my heart! Remember this guy:

and he’s teaching his new little brother the tricks of the trade! Congratulations to this sweet sweet family on their new PRECIOUS addition!
and since I’m adding this one in……I figured I’d add another “Amazing daddy plug” This one’s not wearing a tutu or a santa suit…and I bet you I probably can’t get him to wear one either (well, we’ll work on the Santa suit for Christmas)….ha! But we WERE able to get him to pose during this branch shot! I also figured I’d add this shot in because there’s been a lot of hype about newborn safety in portraiture. Just so you guys know, we are a “safety first” studio and the safety of our newborns is our NUMBER ONE priority *always*. It’s VERY important that you find a photographer who is experienced in dealing with newborns before you let them string your baby up from a branch *grin*. For these shots, we always have one parent hold the baby from underneath the sling inches from the top of our bean bag and the other parent is beside the baby “spotting” from the front. Make sure you ask all the appropriate questions before booking and remember that NO SHOT is worth the safety of your newborn.

I couldn’t believe how much BLONDE hair this little guy had when he came in! Usually our blondies are baldies in the beginning…not this guy! How cute is he?

When this mom called and said she had a vision in mind…she was serious! She found this GORGEOUS gown at a local consignment shop (and I’ve been looking for one ever since! ha!) and wanted really, simple yet classic shots of her little one in this gown. How precious is she???
What a beautiful evening on the beach with a FUN and beautiful family! I tell you….I had a really hard time not converting every one of these images to black and white…..there’s nothing more classic and beautiful than a family portrait on the beach in black and white. Priceless memories
First one to make you giggle. You know I’m not going to let this slide without capturing it for the “bloopers hall of fame”. Go ahead and giggle….you know you do it too!

This little princess had TWO sessions before we could get the earlier one blogged….AND she turned one! Those sweet little curls make me smile every time! Her sweet family drove almost two hours for her last two sessions! Gotta love parents that know how important it is to capture these milestones and value quality portraiture!

These two shots were important to us because we got her newborn session in the christmas box too! awwww…..best Christmas present ever!
Only she didn’t stay in the box as nicely as she did at her newborn session….ha!
These are always SO MUCH FUN at our christmas sessions! We are planning to do some rockin’ mini sessions this year like we did last year. STAY TUNED because we won’t have as many spaces as we did last year and these spots filled up LITERALLY in hours the last time we posted them! We’ll probably post the dates/times sometime in September for the November sessions…so make sure you check back on the blog and “like” us on facebook!

It sure doesn’t seem like this little guy has been one for very long…..but these were taken in October obviously…haha! *blush*. I couldn’t help but share these with you guys though…this pumpkin outfit was actually worn by this little guy’s mom and it was made by his grandmother! Isn’t that amazing?? It’s a first Halloween tradition….

We spent this little pumpkin’s first birthday at the beach! Mom and dad were so much fun to hang around/photograph and they drove TWO hours from Kingsland GA every 3-5 months for our baby plan! Miss C has the best little personality…and WHO can resist those big, gorgeous blue eyes and blonde hair! Happy birthday little C! Thank you for sharing your first year with me

last post…..FEBRUARY……EEEEEEK! I just did this long list of sessions that I have failed to blog…stopped counting at 125. Seriously WAY too far behind! So I’m really going to stop wasting time with the “I’m SOOOOOOOO busy” excuses and hop on to the good stuff in my feeble attempts to catch up sometime this year. Seriously, you guys would MUCH rather me be spending my time loving on your babies than blogging anyway….right?!? :D My slackness in the blog and facebook updates just means that I’m making up for it snuggling with all of your precious children (and capturing your perfect memories)
So here we go…..wayyyyyyyy back in the boondocks
This little monkey is already one! I couldn’t believe how fast her year went by! I may have blogged some of these already…but I just had to outline her past couple of sessions because she grew WAY too fast in my eyes!
