I should have known that this one was going to be such a beauty the day her mommy came in 9 months pregnant looking like she walked out of the pages of a GAP ad. Seriously, I was pregnant with Aiden at the same time thinking “THAT should be illegal!” hahaha! A combination of her mommy and her daddy, little miss T is absolute perfection! What a little beauty!

I think I mention this EVERY time I photograph this family, but I just love them more and more every time we meet! I first documented their pregnancy with baby V (big brother) and daddy was deploying for a year. It was by far the most rewarding, touching, and memerable session I had ever done. Since then I have become not only this family’s photographer, but they have become friends. I’ve watched baby “v” grow up into a bouncing toddler, and got the privilege of photographing baby number 2 as well! It’s so rewarding to watch families grow!

WELCOME Miss C…..finally This one was over two weeks late and at 9.5 lbs, she was totally worth the wait! I’ve never in my life met a client where they induced on her, then sent her home because it didn’t work (haha…funny to me, not to said client…lol), but that’s exactly what happened in this case. She is SO BEAUTIFUL and such an awesome baby though…totally worth the wait for this one You may be having a hard time remembering who’s maternity this one was from, and normally I’d post a sneak of the maternity just to remind you. However, all you have to do is go back one post. Yes. I’m that far behind in blog posts *sigh* The GOOD news is though…I’ve got LOTS and LOTS of new babies to share over the next couple of weeks!!! I’ve been so busy with sessions, that the blog has fallen behind, but do not fret…..I’m going to catch up shortly Thank you for your patience!!! Now for the good stuff…
Every once in a while I’ll get a client who calls for a newborn session and says ” but my baby is big, I don’t think he/she will curl up like your other babies do”…..DEFINITELY not true! Bigger babies almost always “fill” themselves out really nicely and take just as good, if not better portraits than the smaller babies do. The MOST important thing is getting them in early….size of baby is not an issue Check out how cute she is all curled up!

AND we got a special shipment of sume UBERLY UBERLY ADORABLE headbands and bows from Wendy Turner: www.oing-oing.com . She specializes in all of these amazingly adorable headbands and bows, AND they are not only cute, but they actually FIT little one’s heads! I’ve had them on babies as tiny as barely 5lbs all the way up to toddlers and they stretch perfectly EVERY time! I can’t say enough about her quality of work…she’s awesome
Another vendor that we work with frequenty (and many of you have seen your babies in her etsy shop) is Stephanie with Karly’s closet! She’s designs THE most amazing flower headbands and hats. They ALWAYS fit just right (even her unique style of headbands) and they are as adorable as they are efficient! www.karlyskloset.com
Words can’t describe just how much fun I have with this couple! When we first met, I don’t think dad was digging the whole maternity portrait thing, but after sessions two and three….I think we may be bonding. Bahaha! We always have LOTS of great laughs every time I see this couple, and it just makes are sessions light and fun! Next post will be their new BUNDLE!!!
These were done out on St. simons island. What a GORGEOUS evening for maternity portraits! Now, I don’t think I could get back to this beach if my life depended on it, but it was a fun experience anyway and totally worth the trip!
We were not the only ones out for an evening stroll…eeek!
